The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations and was marketed by the Dodge division of Chrysler. The Dodge Silver Challenger was first to be produced from 1958 to 1959 as a limited edition which inherited its name from the fact that they didn't use any other paint choice except silver. From 1969 to 1974, the first generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E Platform, sharing most of its major components with the Plymouth Barracuda. This particular Challenger has been restored to be a tribute car to the move “Vanishing Point.” The car is powered by its 440 V8 paired with a 4 speed manual transmission with a pistol grip shifter. The car runs and shifts very smoothly and is an excellent driver. The black interior is original and is neat and tidy. The front bumperettes are original as well. Other highlights include a Edelbrock carburetor, center console, power brakes and aluminum radiator. This is a very powerful Mopar classic that is a great car to turn the key and get your blood flowing. It's Mopar muscle done right!
